Branding

La Taza Rota (2019)
La Taza Rota is a Mexican restaurant aimed to everyone who is looking for the traditional street chilaquiles flavor, but also wants all the comfort and great service of a casual dining restaurant, where all main dishes are measured by "cups" and served in a bowl.
The graphic solution for this project rescues the traditional street language and aesthetics of the Mexican "jarrito de barro". It represents the Mexican "fondita" culture, in a clean, simple, geometric logo, considering every detail, to craft an effective and strong brand image.
Acento Mezcal
Branding (2018)
Acento is an artisanal handcrafted mezcal made from 100% agave, cultivated in the sun-soaked Valles Centrales, Oaxaca, Mexico, that celebrates the Earth and the diversity and wonder of the sacred agave plant.

The shape of the agave, the geometry of the fields, the rich textile patterns of Oaxaca and the 'adobe' bricks were the main inspiration for the brand, so I revisited the sharpened angles from the plant and the symmetry, and elevated them with a contemporary and elegant take.
A contrasting element inside the pattern gives the icon an "acento" (accent) that emphasizes the symbol and regional connotations.
